  • Diane Grigsby Jackson

Managing Partner | The Strategic Design Group (SDG)
Leadership Strategist | Organizational Architect | Public Sector Change Partner

Diane Grigsby Jackson is the Managing Partner of The Strategic Design Group (SDG), a nationally recognized consulting firm that partners with public sector and human services organizations to strengthen leadership, align strategy, and accelerate sustainable change. Diane leads SDG with vision, discipline, and a deep respect for the people at the heart of public service.

With nearly 30 years of experience in leadership development, organizational strategy, and public systems transformation, Diane brings a bold yet grounded approach to helping leaders navigate complexity with clarity and purpose. Her leadership philosophy centers on the belief that enduring change is only possible when leaders are deeply connected to themselves, their teams, and their mission.

She has guided system leaders through periods of reform, cultural shifts, and operational alignment across sectors. Diane’s work with agencies such as the Florida Department of Children and Families, the Wyoming Department of Family Services, and the Illinois Department of Human Services has shaped leadership capacity at every level—from executive teams to frontline managers.

Diane also brings valuable insight from her work in education, having supported superintendents, district leaders, and principals in leading student-focused, equity-centered transformation.

Her approach integrates behavioral science, strategic execution frameworks, and neuroscience-informed insight to help leaders and organizations evolve, not just react. Whether through system redesign, leadership alignment, or organizational diagnostics, Diane helps leaders connect their behaviors to outcomes that matter.

Diane holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and is a certified executive coach, DISC behavior analyst, and a certified facilitator of the 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX). She also has successful completed the Executive Program in Neuroscience for Business at MIT Sloan School of Management, integrating brain-based insights into her coaching practice.

Her approach is rooted in trust, reflection, and measurable growth, empowering leaders to move from insight to impact. Her work continues to shape how leaders think, act, and build organizations that endure.
